Copyright: CASE Act

This guide provides an introduction to copyright.

What IS THE CASE Act?

The Copyright Alternative in Small-Claims Enforcement Act of 2020 (CASE Act) created an alternative method to resolve copyright disputes. Instead of using the court system and the potentially significant costs involved, the Copyright Claims Board was created to settle small copyright claims totalling $30,000 or less.
