Lee Trevino

One of only four players to twice win the U.S. Open, The Open Championship, and the PGA Championship, Lee Trevino is a famous professional Mexican American golfer from Dallas, Texas.

Grace Napolitano

Born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, Grace Napolitano went onto become the U.S. Representative for California and helped created a school-based mental health program for the prevention of suicide within Latina adolescents.

Mexico: Dia de los Muertos

Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a Mexican holiday celebrating the departed. Toys and food, including these sugar skulls, are created in the shape of skulls and other symbols of death for the celebration.

Robert Rodriguez
