Baytown & Surrounding Areas Local History: Collections Unique to Lee College

Hosted by the Portal to Texas History, these audio recordings and transcripts of Baytown-area WW2 veterans were produced by Lee College students and faculty.

This collection of oral histories was produced by Lee College students between 2001-2005, and includes interviews with veterans who served from WWII - the early 2000's.

This collection of audio recordings and transcripts of interviews with local residents addresses the history of Baytown, Goose Creek, Mont Belvieu, Cedar Bayou, Pelly, and the surrounding areas. This project was a collaboration between Lee College history faculty and the Sterling Municipal Library.
