Before you start looking for your sources, ask yourself the following questions:

What do I already know about my topic? Do I know enough to know what I'm looking for?
What kind of terms do writers in this field use to describe my subject? Examples:
- Therapy vs Treatment
- Alcohol dependent vs. Alcoholic
- Mental illness vs. Mental problems
Can I state my topic in the form of a question?
