Accessing your textbooks (Students)

If you have opted in to the myBooks program, the cost of your textbooks is included in your tuition, so they will be available to you on the first day of your class. If you have opted out of the program, you are responsible for purchasing all course materials on your own.

How do I know if my textbook is an e-book or a  print book?

Most textbooks will be provided in an e-book format. If your book is not available as an e-book, the college will loan you a print copy of the book.

If the book is provided by the college in an e-book format but you prefer a print book, you must purchase the print edition on your own.

There are 2 ways that you can determine if your course requires a print or e- textbook:

E-textbooks:

Most textbooks will be provided in electronic format through BibliU.

To access your e-textbooks:

  1. Log into your Lee College Blackboard account.
  2. Choose the course for which you want to access the e-textbook.
  3. Once you are on the course page, look on the left-hand side of the screen for the "BibliU Textbook Information" link.
  4. You will see a screen that says you are leaving the Lee College Blackboard site.  Click the "Launch" button on the bottom of the screen.
  5. Your online textbook will appear on the screen.  Click on the cover to open the book.

Access Codes

If your course materials require an Access Code from the publisher, you will get the code through BibliU.  There should be a link to BibliU on your course Blackboard page.
