Includes information about food available to enrolled GCCISD students during the school & summer.
Hearts and Hands of Baytown

Expanded food benefits for students under Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program
Eligibility requirements for food assistance benefits through the SNAP program have been temporarily expanded to include college students eligible for work study. This website provides more info.

This expansion is currently slated to extend through the end of the federal govt's declaration of COVID as a public health emergency.

United Way's 2-1-1 service: Provides referrals to individuals in need.

Dial 2-1-1 by phone.
An operator will interview you about your need.
They will suggest agencies that are operating in your area that may be able to fulfill your need.

Serves people in zip codes 77520, 77521, 77523, 77562, 77580. Offers basic needs services, including utility assistance.
